For light tackle fishing for snook, tarpon, redfish, cobia, and the host of other inshore fish that inhabit our waters we fish from a Dorado 23 towerboat. She draws only 11 inches of water so we can carry 4 anglers into the skinniest water and have plenty of elbow room while we enjoy a multi-hookup redfish rally or sight cast to cruising cobia. If it gets choppy she rides comfortable thru it. Cushioned seating, lots of open space for fishing, a bit of shade, and lots of cooler space make this Capt. Eds idea of the ultimate inshore sportfishing machine.

For offshore fishing we run a 31 FOOT YELLOWFIN. Widely regarded as the best offshore fishing boat in its class, the Yellowfin is a very fast, incredibly smooth riding offshore high prerformance fishing machine. Intelligent cockpit layout provides maximum fishing space and huge live bait capacity (which we fully utilize). On the transom is a pair of 250 Four stroke Yamahas which can push her quietly up to 60 miles per hour. We usually cruise at 40-45 MPH, much faster than most of the other offshore boats in the Tampa Bay Fishing area. This gets us to get to the deep spots quicker, allows us to run further out on a day charter, and reach spots the others simply dont have the time to reach.
She is rigged to the max with radar, dual sonar, triple GPS, 10 person life raft, EPIRB, full time Vessel Monitoring tracking, autopilot, VHF radio, satellite stereo, and oversized livewells. Our custom made E-Sea Rider bean bag chairs let you ride in absolute comfort on long runs. They are the closest thing to a LazyBoy that you'll find on a boat this fast. Kick back in the beanbag, turn up the stereo, and let us whisk you to the amizing action of the deep Gulf of Mexcio. To date this boat and captain have caught 18 IFGA world records offshore; including groupers, several species of snapper, almaco jacks, and others.
We use the Yellowfin 31 for fishing deep wrecks, springs, and offshore ledges for grouper, snapper, amberjack. kingfish, and billfish far from land. We will tell you whats been the best lately and you can tell us what you like to catch the most.
